Private Funeral services for the late Mrs. Toshiko Sumi, 83 year old nisei, who passed away on August 16, were held on August 24 at Fukui Mortuary " Chapel in the Garden" officiated by Bishop Emeritus Taisen Miyata.

She is survived by husband, Noboru Sumi; son, Fred Tadashi (Valerie Reiko) Sumi; daughters, Janet Keiko (Charles Yoshimitsu) Mori and Irene Aiko Sumi; grandsons, Curtis Mitsuo Mori of Manama, Bahrain and Ryan Tadashi Sumi; granddaughters, Tiffany Ai Mori and Tritia Kayo Sumi; great grand-daughter, Kylie Chiemi Sakatani; sister-in law, Yoko Murakami; also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives here.
