Funeral services for the late Toshiaki Nitao, 80-year-old, Kagoshima, Japan born, resident of Tustin, who passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025 will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 10:30 A.M. at Newport Beach Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 254 Victoria St., Costa Mesa, CA.

He is survived by his loving family; wife, Yumiko Nitao; daughters, Janet (Mark) Morishita, Susan Nitao, and June (Chris) Yakura; grandchildren, Allyson and Lynn Morishita, Tyler Yakura, and Audrey Taberna; brother, Yoshiaki (Yoko) Nitao; sisters, Shigeko (Yoneho) Hirano and Hiroe (Haruhiko) Matsuda both of Japan; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Japan.
