Obituary
Funeral services for the late Tomochika Tom Sakamoto, born March 2, 1923 in San Pedro and resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on Dec 5, 2012, were held privately at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles.
Tom, served in the Army Military Intelligence Service, received his undergraduate degree from UCLA, and graduated from USC School of Pharmacy. He worked as a pharmacist for Thrifty Drug for 37 years.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Sumiko Sakamoto, son Stephen (Lori) Sakamoto; grandchildren, Avery, Evan and Wistan. Tom is also survived by many other loving family members.
