MRS. TOMIYE MATSUMIYA, 92, Los Angeles, CA born Nisei, resident of Culver City, passed away peacefully at home with her son Terry by her side on May 17, 2017.

She is survived by her loving family; sons, Don (Yayoi) Matsumiya and Terry Matsumiya; daughter, Suzanne (James Allen) Matsumiya; granddaughters, Teresa Matsumiya and Zoe Allen; sister, Sumie Dohara; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.

Celebration of life service will be held on Friday, June 2, at 10:00AM at Venice-Santa Monica Free Methodist Church, 4871 Centinela Ave., Los Angeles.
