Tomiko
Mizokami
July 25, 1918 – March 5, 2019
Tomiko Inouye Mizokami, a devoted Mother, and pioneer member of the Gedatsu Church, passed peacefully, at the age of 100.
Tomiko was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She married Roy Masao Mizokami. In 1943. After the onset of WWII in the Pacific, Tomiko was interned in Topaz, Utah where she birthed their first of seven children. Eventually, settling in Los Angeles to raise their family and own/operate an insurance agency. She is also remembered as a devout Deacon, incredible interpreter and a dedicated office manager of the L.A. Gedatsu Church.
Predeceased by her son Clifton, Tomiko is survived by her children Victor (Marian), Janis (James Peck), Gwen (Henry Hass), Martin, Michael (Karen), and Bruce (Sylvia), as well as 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She will be profoundly missed.
Service will be held at the L.A. Gedatsu Church on Saturday, April 27, 2019 @10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to: L.A. Gedatsu Sunday School.
