Tom Yoshimi Umemoto, a WWII veteran, passed away on November 24, 2019, at the age of 95.  He is survived by his brother Herb; niece, Cindy; nephews, Ron and Glenn; grandnieces Nicole and Melissa; great-grandniece, Jade.  A private family service was held at Green Hills Memorial Park, officiated by Clifford Ishigaki.

Tom will be remembered as a sweet and creative man who regularly demonstrated to his family some new invention that he was working on at the time.  He was also an avid photographer and animal lover.  Tom never married or had any children of his own, but was a big influence on his siblings and extended family.
