Memorial service for TOM FURUYA, 98, Hiroshima born Issei and naturalized citizen who resided in Los Angeles and passed away on December 26 at the Glendale Memorial Hospital, will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 11:00AM at the West Covina Christian Church, 1100 E. Cameron Ave., West Covina, with Rev. Shunji Mizoguchi of L.A. Holiness Church officiating under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Teiko; sons, Monte (Jean) and Ken (Harriet); daughter, Karen (Mel) Makabe; grandchildren, Yasuko Furuya, Chie (Phil) Chap, Kennis Akemi (Rev. Greg) Bishop and Ryan Furuya; great grandchild, Camille Chap and other relatives. The family requests casual attire and that flowers please be omitted.
