Obituary
Memorial services for the late Mr. Tom Tamio Furukawa, an 89-year-old, El Centro, California-born Nisei resident of Monrovia and former internee of Gila River Relocation Camp who passed away on April 4, 2012 will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012, 11:00 AM at West Covina Christian Church, 1100 E. Cameron Ave., West Covina, CA 91290, officiated by Pastor Rick Iwanaga. The family respectfully requests casual attire and that flowers be omitted.
Mr. Furukawa is survived by his wife, Clara Furukawa; son, Derek Furukawa; daughter, Arleen (Jim) Taniwaki of CO. Also survived by many other relatives.
