Tilly Shigeo Hatanaka, age 82 born and resident of Los Angeles, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013. He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Yoshisuke (Hanako) Hatanaka, survived by his beloved siblings, Sam Y. (Dorothy) Hatanaka, James M. Hatanaka and June H. Nakamura of Japan; nieces and nephews, Naoki J. (Erika) Nakamura, Diane (Chris) Goodchild and Gwen (Allen) Inouye; Cousins, Geri (Tabo) Sakuma; Aunt, Yoshiko Machida and Sumi J. Bart both of Hawaii, Douglas (Denice) Machida and Margaret Machida; and survived by many other relatives here and in Japan.

Memorial Services were held on Sat. Feb. 16, at Evergreen Cemetery with Christian minister of Los Angeles officiating.
