Private graveside services for Thomas Kenjiro Okutsu, 86-year-old Seattle, WA born resident of Monterey Park who passed away on Aug. 9, 2009 at his residence, were held on Sat. Aug. 22 at Rose Hills Memorial Park, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
He is survived by his wife, Toshiko Okutsu; daughters, Kathryn Masako (Steven A.) Foster, Marjorie Shigeko (Robert) Greenwald and Dorothy Kazuko Okutsu; son, Thomas Toshio (Rebecca) Okutsu; grandsons, Bennett C. Foster and Andrew Kenjiro (Nicole) Okutsu; granddaughter, Amanda Mariko (Ernest) Lemons; four great grandchildren; brother, Anthony Toyoshige Okutsu; sister, Haruko Shimozawa of Japan; many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
