Family service for THOMAS KINAGA, 87, a San Jose born Nisei and resident of Palos Verdes Estates who passed away on September 15 at the Little Company of Mary was held on Saturday, Sept. 18, at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with Rinban Noriaki Ito of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.

Thomas, an original member of the 44nd RCT and preceded in death by his brother Karl Kinaga, is survived by his wife, Rose Nomachi; son, Robert Thomas (Sue); daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Sammy Brown) of Arkansas and Patricia Anne (Peter Wong); 9 grandchildren and extended family.
