Mr. Thomas Shigeichi Hayashi, 87, of Torrance, California, US Air Force Veteran,

passed away on December 17, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones at his home

after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was

predeceased by his parents, Wasa and Shigeru Hayashi and brothers, Herbert and

Raymond Hayashi. Tommy is survived by his wife, Joyce Hayashi; 2 sons, Grant

(Sheryl) and Dwayne (Margot) Hayashi; 4 grandchildren and many relatives.

A family celebration of life service was held on Tuesday, January 3, at Fukui

Mortuary with Rev. Mark Nakagawa officiating. Private inurnment will be held at

a later date.
