Obituary
Thelma Yamada, 96, Hawaii-born resident of Temecula, CA, passed away on July 16, 2016.
Thelma is predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold, and her children, Richard and Ellen Yamada.
She is survived by children of California: Larry (Lupe) Yamada, Arlene (Stan) Yokoyama, Marion (Greg) Stewart, and Curtis Yamada; sisters, Teruko Kansaku of Waimea, HI, Yukiko (Norman) Masaki of Hilo, HI, Alice Ishii of Paauilo,HI, Katherine (Pete) Ottoboni of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Naomi, John, Kyle, Kevin and Kelsi Yamada, Lyn (Dean) Watanabe, Jana and Megan Yokoyama; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 10A.M. at Senshin Buddhist Temple, 1311 W. 37th St., Los Angeles, CA 90007, with Reverend Masao Kodani officiating. The family politely requests no koden or flowers.
