Teresita Toye Okita, 92, peacefully passed away at her home on March 18. She is survived by all of her children, Kenneth (Joanne), Mary Rivera, John (Michiko Yamamoto), Thomas (Judy), Anthony, Monica (Daniel), Peter (Karen), Stephen (Darlene) and David (Catherine); sister Pauline Takahashi and brother Joseph Takahashi; brother-in-law Toshiharu Okita; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of her life was held at St. Francis Xavier Chapel, Los Angeles, on March 27.
