Funeral services for the late Ted Tetsuo Sakamoto, a 94-year-old, Bakersfield, California-born Kibei Nisei former internee of Poston Relocation Camp during WWII who passed away peacefully on September 28, 2014 will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 9:00 AM at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, officiated by Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission.



Beloved husband of Haruye Sakamoto, neé Okuno; devoted father of Elaine Sakamoto, May (Byron) Nishiyama, and Dave (Jeannie) Sakamoto; proud grandfather of Lauren Sakamoto; loving brother of Nancy Nakamura. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
