Private funeral services for the late Ted K. Ohira, 84-year-old Hawaii born resident of Gardena, who passed away on March 5, 2007, was held on Monday, March 12 at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Chizuko Ohira; children, Dr. John (Pamela) Mitamura, Vicki Yoshikawa, and Michael Ohira; grandchildren, Chelsea, Emily, Hanna, Matthew, Julie, Russell, Greg, Elizabeth, and Brian; siblings, Charles M. and Roy (Alice) Ohira, and Esther (Randy) Fukumoto; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
