A private funeral service for the late Ted Tatsuo Ando, a 94-year-old, Kagoshima Japan born, resident of Westminster, who peacefully passed away on January 5, 2024, was held on  Saturday, February 17, at Orange County Buddhist Church in Anaheim.

Ted had a full life and loved his family, friends and his business Ando Electric Motors Inc in Long Beach for over 50 years.

Predeceased by his son, Mark Ando, and sister, Michiko (Shigeo) Kawasaki; he is  survived by his wife, Tomiko Ito Ando; children, Hazel (Leroy) Ando-Heu, Diana  (Russell) Ono, Linda Megumi Ando, and Walt (Sue) Ando; daughter-in-law, Dr.  Linda Kouchi Ando; grandchildren, Tracie (Brian) Bacho, Megan Ono, Kyle, Dylan,  Darren, and Sarah Ando; great-grandchildren, Keilani and Kaden Bacho;  brother, Toshio (Naoko) Ando; sister in laws Suzuka Ito and Tsuyako Ito; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
