Funeral services for the late Mr. Tatsuo Toyota, a Maui, Hawaii-born Nisei resident of La Mirada and a US Army Veteran who served his country honorably during the Korean War who passed away on January 1, 2014 were held privately at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" officiated by Rev. Koho Takata of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

Mr. Toyota was predeceased by his beloved wife Atsuko. He is survived by his children, Michele (Russell) Garwacki and Mark (Patrice) Toyota. Proud grandfather of Dayna Garwacki, Craig Toyota, Kristina Garwacki, Derick Toyota, and Amanda Garwacki. Also survived by 4 siblings, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives both here and in Hawaii.
