Obituary
MR. TARO UCHIZONO, a Los Angeles, CA born Nisei, resident of Fountain Valley and proud veteran of the U.S. Army 442nd Regimental Combat Team, passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 2011 on his 89th birthday.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 3, from 3:00PM at Wintersburg Presbyterian Church, 2000 N. Fairview St., Santa Ana.
He is survived by his loving wife, Estella Hoshimiya-Uchizono; sons, Stanley (Sharon), Dr. Rodger, and Craig (Karen) Uchizono; brothers Jiro (Toy) and Shiro (Minnie) Uchizono and sister Ikuko Iguchi; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by wife Rosie, brother Saburo and sister Toshiko Uchizono.
