Funeral services for Mr. Taneharu "Taney" Tajiri, 87-year-old California-born Nisei resident of West Los Angeles and retired cryogenic engineer who passed away on March 13 at Horizon House, Alaska, will be held on Wednesday, March 21 at 11:00 AM at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 South Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, with Pastor Larry Jorgenson presiding, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary, 213-626-0441.
He is survived by his son, Osamu Matsutani (Grace) of Alaska; two grandchildren, Kate and Megan Matsutani ; brother, Akira (Naomi) Tajiri of California; sisters, Yoshino Hasegawa of California, Haruno Tsuruoka of New York, Kikuno (Mineo) Okamoto of Hawaii; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
