Tamiko Kawashima, born on April 25, 1928 in Los Angeles, CA, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles on May 6, 2018, at the age of 90. She is survived by her daughter Diane Kawashima and son Dale Kawashima, grandsons David and Daniel, her sister Yo Mori, son-in-law Timm Morris and daughter-in-law Deborah Kawashima. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family. Tami lived most of her life in Pasadena, and she helped her late husband, Bob Kawashima, open Miyako Restaurant, which was a popular restaurant in Pasadena for 40 years. Tami will be remembered fondly by her family and friends.

A private funeral service was held Saturday, May 12 at the Chapel at Fukui Mortuary in Los Angeles.
