Funeral services for the late Tamiji Somen, 92 year old, born in Fresno, CA and sixty year resident of Santa Ana, who passed away on January 26, will be held on Monday, February 6, 1:00P.M. at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, California. Casual and Hawaiian attire is welcome.

Tamiji spent his childhood in Boyle Heights and downtown Los Angeles / Little Tokyo. He was a long time member of O.C.B.C. and served as church president in 1975.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Hiroko Somen; children, Alan T.,Bryan M. and Catherine K. Somen; sisters-in-law, Michiyo and Asako Sameshima of Tijuana; brother-in-law, Miguel T. Sameshima of Tijuana; Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in the U.S.A., Mexico, and Japan.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Fukui Mortuary, 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, California.
