A Celebration of Life and Service of Committal for the late Mrs. Tami Ruth Kurokawa, a 95-year-old Bellevue, Washington State-born Nisei resident of Culver City and former internee of Manzanar Relocation Camp during World War II who passed away on December 19, 2012 were held privately at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden"

Mrs.Kurokawa was predeceased by her husband Tom and her daughter Frances Setsuko Moritani.

Beloved mother of William Mitsuru (Jean Tatsuye) Takeuchi; grandmother of Chris Tod Takeuchi and Jodi Terese (Plinio) Lattanzi of Hawaii, Bryan Uchida, Robyn Uchida and Tracie Uchida; great-grandmother of Chloe Tatsuye and Cara Tamiko Takeuchi; stepmother of Arlene (Ken) Uchida. Also survived by many other family members.
