Funeral services for the late Tamaye Tsuchiyama, 84 year old Los Angeles born and resident, who passed away on May 13, 2010 were held on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", with Rev. Join Inoue of Nichiren Buddhist Temple officiating.

Tamaye is survived by son, Don (Myki) Tsuchiyama; daughter, Toni (Wynsor) Kawamoto; grandchildren, Kyle, Allison and David Tsuchiyama; sisters, Sumiko Nakano, Hideko Kawaguchi, Sakaye Yoneda, and Youko (Kiyo) Araki. Tamaye is also survived by many other family members.
