A public funeral service for the late Takeyuki Miyauchi,
97 years old, born in Kagoshima, Japan, a long-time
resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on March
7, 2025, will be held on Monday, March 17, 10 a.m. at
L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, officiated by
Rimban William Briones.
He is survived by beloved wife, Kazuko; his daughters,
Margaret (Henry Leong) Miyauchi-Leong, Joyce (Peter)
Valenzuela, Lily (Gary) Pfeiffer; grandchildren, Stephanie
(Damien) Moane, Matthew (Ann) Chung, Stephen
(Althea) Valenzuela, Christopher (Sarah) Valenzuela, Sara
Valenzuela, Michael (Meyalli) Valenzuela, Rachel
