Family services for the late Takeshige Tabuchi, 90-year-old Montebello-born Nisei and resident of North Hills who passed away on April 25 at Olympia Medical Center, were held on April 29 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with Rinban Chuho Matsubayashi of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

He is survived by his sons, Hiroshi (Eiko) Tabuchi and Takekazu (Shinobu) Tabuchi, the latter of Japan; daughter, Kazuyo (Koh) Jabami of Long Beach; eight grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Tetsuko Tabuchi of Japan; nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Sumiko (Kanemasa) Ishino, Tomiko (James) Nakamura and Hanayo Oda.
