Takeshi "Tak" Kohatsu, an 80-year-old, California-born Nisei, former internee of Poston Relocation Camp during WWII who proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2013 due to a sudden illness.

Beloved husband of Margie; devoted father of Mel, Wendy and Sandy; brother of Aiko; brother-in-law of Gladys. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A "Celebration of Life" luncheon will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013, 11:00 AM at Quiet Cannon, 901 Via Clemente, Montebello, CA 90640. Casual Attire please. The family kindly requests that flowers be omitted.
