Beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and brother Takeo William Kaneko , 96, passed away peacefully at his home on January 2, 2017. Born in Los Angeles and interned at Jerome, Arkansas, he eventually returned to Southern California. He worked for Rockwell Corporation for 32 years as an electronics test engineer.

He is survived by his wife Masako; children Sharon (Brian), Robert, Gail (Bruce) and Ann; sister Kimiko Kaneko in Japan, nieces Susan and Elaine Murakami; nephew Koichi Kaneko in Japan; and grandchildren Richard Hiroshi, Sachi and Ceiba.

A private memorial service was held in Los Angeles at Fukui Mortuary, officiated by Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
