Obituary
Takemi Shimizu, a 91-year-old Visalia, California-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles and former internee of Poston Relocation Camp during WWII passed away on June 10, 2016.
Mrs. Shimizu was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kazuo and her son, Glendon. She is survived by her daughters, Janet (Chris) Taga, Jean (Tom) O'Malley and Carol (David Tobler) Shimizu; granddaughters, Erin and Kelly O'Malley; daughter-in-law, Kyoko Shimizu. Also survived by many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 11:00 AM at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
