A private family service for the late Takashi Maki, 87 year-old, Olaa, Hawaii born resident of Monterey Park, who passed away on May 18, 2013 was held on Tuesday, June 4th at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. Cliff Ishigaki officiating.

He is survived by his loving family; wife, Chieko Maki; son, Mitchell (Cayleen Nakamura) Maki; grandchildren, Troy and Lane Maki; brother, Tsuneto Maki of Torrance; sisters, Harumi (Thomas) Sugahara, Hanayo Sanekane, Takako (Glenn) Sanekane and Jane (Ed) Ogura, all of Hawaii; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii.
