Takao Furumoto, age 95 , born in Seattle, WA, resident of Los Angeles, CA, passed away on Sat April 16, 2016 at Adelya Senior Home, Yorba Linda. He is pre-deceased by beloved son, Russell , survived by beloved wife Chiyoko Judy , son, Michael (Tina) ; grandchildren, Brent (Aki) and Britni (Nathan Lyons-Smith); great grandchildren, Ava and Katie; siblings Yukiko Yamanaka of Japan, Shizuko Machida of Hawaii and Setsuko Watanabe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Sat. May 7th at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. Peter Hata of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.
