Takako Shinohara, age 91 born in Seattle Washington, resident of Los Angeles, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2012. She is predeceased by beloved husband, Yutaka Shinohara, survived by her beloved children, Bruce Yukutaka Shinohara and Penny Akemi (Gilbert) Nishimura; grandchildren, Darren and Lauren Shinohara, Scott (Jen) and Melissa Nishimura; sisters, Masako ( Fred ) Shingu and Yoshiko ( Masanosuke ) Tanaka of Japan, Tomi ( Ray ) Yamada, Shizie ( Jun ) Taira; sister-in-law, Jean Kohno and Lili Shinohara, also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial Services was held on Thursday, November 8, at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
