MINAMIDE, TAKAKO, 83 year-old, passed away on Jan. 20, 2009, beloved mother of Christine Wendie (Alan) Shimizu, Shelby (Mark) Young, and John (Joan) Minamide; grandmother of Lauren Shimizu (Greg) Frith of NC, Kara and Jared Shimizu, Evan and Mitchell Young, Kyle, Kacie and Jamie Minamide; sister of Kimiko Tazoi of UT and Cassie (Bob) Endo, and is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private memorial service was held at Centenary United Methodist Church. She was interred at Evergreen Cemetery, Los Angeles, CA.
