Obituary
A private service for the late Tak T. Horiba, 82-year-old Whittier resident who passed away on January 25 at St. Jude's Medical Center, was held on Thursday, February 1 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Kakuryo Kodani of Senshin Buddhist Temple officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Michi Horiba; daughters, Carol Horiba and Barbara Babinski; brothers, Mas (Jo) and Sabe (Sets) Horiba; brother-in-law, Eichi Uyemura; sister-in-law, Fumi (Sam) Tsuchiya. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
