Burial services for the late Mr. Tadashi "Tad" Sekiyama, a 81 year-old, California-born Sansei resident of Gardena, former Poston Relocation Camp internee and a proud veteran Corporal of the US Army were held privately at Riverside National Cemetery.


Son of Dr. Isami and Chiyoko Sekiyama; brother of Justine Yuriko Hamada and Joyce Mariko Okino. He is also survived by many other relatives and his best friend and pet Coco III, a 4 year-old female Chihuahua.


Mr. Sekiyama loved going every day to Rainbow Donuts with his dog Coco III and taking her for walks. He will be remembered as an artist and a generous person who enjoyed attending all of the family gatherings. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
