Sumiko "Sue" Murakami, 92, a resident of Cerritos, peacefully passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013. She is predeceased by husband, Tadawo (Tad) Murakami, and survived by her children: Ronald (Mitsue), Janet (Gordon) Sugimoto, and Greg (Elizabeth), her grandchildren Brent, Chasen, Drew Sugimoto, and Amelia and Alex Murakami, brother Shig (Candice) Kuwahara and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 21 at Evergreen Cemetery.
