Funeral service for the late Sumiko Kubo Kuwahara, 95-year-old, Riverside, CA born resident of Torrance, who passed away on May 16, 2013, were held on Saturday, June 1, 3 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden".

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Kuwahara; she is survived by her children, Howard (Phyllis) and Ray (Jeanne) Kuwahara, and Jean (Scott) Devenport; grandchildren, Kevin Kuwahara, Kerry (Graham) Wong, and Whitney (Jeff) Lou; great-grandchildren, Sophie and Jax Lou; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
