Stuart Scott Osaka, 66-year-old resident of Los Angeles, passed away on February 22, 2025. Stuart dedicated over 30 years to Sony Pictures as an electrician on the studio lot, a career he truly loved. His work brought him great pride and happiness, and he treasured the many friendships he made along the way.

He loved exploring new foods, traveling to Hawaii and Las Vegas, and sharing his passion for cooking. His barbecues were always filled with delicious food and, most importantly, brought family and friends together. More than anything, he cherished the time spent with his nieces.

Stuart was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness and generosity will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Bessie Osaka, and survived by his family including his sisters and brothers: Judi (Scott) Stonecipher, Jeffrey (Lynnette Namba), Jerry, and Jill; and his beloved nieces, Chloe and Lillie Stonecipher and Alex Osaka.  A private memorial will be held to celebrate Stuart's life at his final resting place, Green Hills Memorial Park.
