Steven Minoru Goto, 63, resident of Murrieta, CA passed away on February 26, 2020.

Horticulture had been a part of Steve's life from a very early age.  He was very knowledgeable in all aspects of growing and nurturing plants.  Over the past 20+ years, his specialty was heirloom tomatoes.  Steve shared his vast knowledge through seminars and tomato tastings at various garden centers all along the West Coast and became known as the "Tomato King" within the industry.

Steve is survived by his loving family: wife, April Goto; mother, Grace Harumi Goto; brothers, Michael (Kathi) Goto, Wayne Goto; sister, Amy Iwashina; brother-in-law Jeffrey (Lillian) Mayeda; sister-in-law Stacy Mayeda (Greg Adamson).  He is also survived by many nieces, aunts and cousins.

Plans for a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
