Viewing and funeral mass for the late Steve Higashi, 55 year-old
native Los Angeles born, resident of Rosemead who passed away on March 31, will be held on Tuesday, April 11, with viewing from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m. at Maryknoll Catholic Church 222 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. (213) 626-0441
He is survived by his wife, Michi Higashi; sisters, Frances (Harvey) Iwamizu, Barbara (Richard) Heisler; brothers, Richard, Larry (Vic) Higashi; sisters-in-law, Machi (Gary Nishitsuji) Kamei, Emi (Glenn) Kusumi, Cathy (David) Okita; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Katsuya (Kiyomi) Kamei; and also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
