Funeral services for the late Soichiro Nishi, 85-year-old Los Angeles-born Nisei and resident of Irvine who passed away on June 20 in Lake Forest, will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 11 a.m. at Inglewood Park Cemetery "Grace Chapel", 720 E. Florence Ave., Inglewood, with Rev. Masao Kodani of Senshin Buddhist Temple officiating and Fukui Mortuary directing.

He is survived by his wife, Chitose; son, Kenneth (Shari); daughters, Beverly Rogers and Carolyn (Dave) Calica; sister, Yuriko Wakimoto of Hilo, Hawaii; and grandchildren, Shannon and Kimberley Nishi, Jennifer and Thomas Rogers and David and Melissa Calica.
