Obituary
Shu Watanabe, 103-year-old Fukushima-Ken-born resident of Los Angeles, passed away on April 5, 2006.
A private interment of her ashes was held on April 14 at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
She is the wife of the late Keichi Watanabe, and is survived by her daughter, Leslie Kawakami (predeceased by her husband, the late Tetsuo Kawakami); son-in-law, John Sato (predeceased by his wife, the late Mei Sato, daughter of Shu Watanabe); four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
The family requests that koden (monetary expressions) be omitted.
