Viewing for the late Shizuye Takehana, 102, resident of Montebello, who passed away peacefully on November 24, 2016, will be held on Friday, December 9, 11:00 A.M. at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012. Memorial Service will also be held at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" on Monday, December 12, 11:00 A.M., with Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
Shizuye is survived by her beloved sons, Shigeru (Sunnie-Han) and Ralph Takehana; grandchildren, Dr. Christopher Takehana, Jo Ann (Richard) Casabona, and Katherine (Alex Perez) Takehana; and also by 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
