Shizuye Okura (Miyake) passed away on October 27, 2017. She leaves her daughter, Donna Hisaka (Mel),
7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sister, Yuri Amamoto and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of
her life will be on Monday, November 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Venice-Santa Monica Free Methodist Church,
