Shizuye Shirley Nakaguchi, a 91-year-old California-born Nisei long-time resident of Los Angeles and former internee of Poston Relocation Camp during WWII passed away peacefully on July 13, 2016. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Hidetada Nakaguchi and her siblings Mary Yamane and Ted Muragishi. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Dennis) Murakami; her siblings Misako (Akira) Kadonaga and Kay (George) Ohno. Also survived my many nieces, nephews and many other relatives.


In accordance with her wishes her cremated remains will be scattered at sea privately in lieu of a memorial service.
