Private family service for the late Shizuye Kondo, 95-year-old, CA born resident of Arcadia, who passed away on September 10, 2013, was held on Friday, September 20 at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles.

Predeceased by her husband, Masao Kondo; she is survived by her daughters, Joanne Keiko (Ken) Nakano, Reiko Kondo, June Kondo, and May (Kenneth) Inouye; granddaughters, Stacy (Matthew Ross) Nakano, Nicole (Eric Kawaguchi) Inouye; Trisha (Tenzin Bhagen) Nakano, Erin (Steven Hendrix) Inouye, and Shannon (David Cowdrick) Inouye; great-grandchildren, Amelia Kawaguchi, Kenji Ross, Sonam Bhagen, Emi Ross and Grace Kawaguchi; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
