Funeral service for the late Shizuye Kawagishi, 82 year-old, Wakayama-Ken, Japan born, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on May 2, 2009, at Greater El Monte Community Hospital, will be held on Fri. May 8, 2009, 7:30 P.M. at Montebello Sozenji Buddhist Temple, 3020 W. Beverly Blvd., Montebello, CA.

She is survived by her daughters, Sally Kazuko (Steven) Inouye and Chikako Cathy Taka; grandchildren, Ryan Makoto Inouye, Kalie Miki Inouye and Aimee Yukako Taka; sisters, Miyoko Yasuda and Sayoko (Shinichi) Sano both of Japan; sister-in-law, Fusako Rose Hara and Michiko Fujinami; also, survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
