Private services for the late Mrs. Shizu Uyeda, 100-year-old, Los Angeles, California resident, who passed away peacefully on November 14, was held in Whittier, California on November 28.

She is survived by her daughters, Chiyoko Yamashiro and Aiko Kawano; son, Satoru Uyeda; sister, Kazumi Tatsumi and brother, Tadashi Kishi. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
