Obituary
Shiro Joe Yoshikawa a 97-year-old, California-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles and former internee of Manzanar Relocation Camp during WWII passed away on July 1, 2016. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years Mary Shizue Yoshikawa.
Shiro is survived by his children, Shirley, Harry, Dennis and Theodore Yoshikawa; grandchildren Tiffany, Jennifer and Lauren Yoshikawa. Also survived by many other relatives.
Family funeral services were held privately at Woodlawn Cemetery officiated by Rev. Kory Quon of Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
