Kubota, Shirley Sumi, age 73, passed away on December 19, 2017. Beloved wife of Ted Kubota; mother of Russ Kubota and Sara (Tim) Hartwig of TX; grandmother of Harper Hartwig of TX; sister of Henry (Betty) Sasaki; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.

Funeral services were held on December 29 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Marvin Harada of Orange County Buddhist Church.
